Net Your Problem brings communities together to tackle an often-overlooked waste stream: retired fishing gear.
I documented volunteers breaking down nets by hand and separating materials like plastic and metal so they could move into recycling streams rather than becoming waste.
Through interviews, event filmmaking and photography, the project captures both how the recycling process works and the people making it happen.
